As COO for MANIERA SL (a virtual publication) and MANIERA ( a real life digital magazine), I often encounter equal degrees of interest and confusion regarding what doing business in the virtual world means. People are intrigued but also mystified, and this book goes a long way to answering many of the questions business people pose about the ways in which virtual strategies can work for them. The book is written from a non-expert perspective, thus not only preaching to the converted but also being easily accessible to those who have little or no knowledge of the various virtual options available. There are plenty of worked examples throughout the book, which outlines the many different virtual platforms and ways these can be utilised by a variety of commercial and non-profit organisations. For anyone thinking about, or for anyone who has not even started to think about, expanding into the realms of the virtual this book is a great place to start.
